The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International offers up to 30 scholarships annually to members of the Society to enhance the fulfillment of its fifth purpose, "To endow scholarships to aid outstanding women educators in pursuing graduate study…."

Basic Requirements
The applicant must:
- Be an active member of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International for a minimum of three years (initiation prior to February 1, 2008).
- Provide evidence of active participation and demonstrated leadership in The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
- Have completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Be accepted and enrolled in a graduate program of a nationally accredited institution of higher education, preferably pursuing a doctoral degree.
- Have not received an International Scholarship previously.
- Provide evidence of excellence in scholarship.
- Provide evidence of service to the community

Upsilon State Scholarship Committee Goals for 2009-2011
- The Upsilon State Scholarship committee will develop a state brochure regarding available scholarships and have it by the state convention to hand out to the membership.
- The Upsilon State Scholarship Committee will increase the number of scholarships awarded each year by providing more communication to chapter presidents and scholarship chairs throughout the year.
- The Upsilon State Scholarship Committee will increase awareness of available scholarships by sending updated information electronically to all chapters.
